Where art and medicine meet.
The mission of CardonaDPC and RefineMD is to promote the health and well-being of the local community by providing accessible, price transparent, high-quality medical care as well as help our patients enhance + refine their personal health goals by providing safe and effective aesthetic services. We want patients to look as good as they feel.
We are a direct primary care clinic. We do not bill insurance for our services because we find it is simpler, more efficient, and more cost-effective to keep patient care between the patient and the physician and to eliminate as many third-party interests as possible. Many of our patients choose to stay insured but that is not a requirement to be a part of our practice. If you do carry insurance, we will use your insurance benefits for other services like laboratory tests, radiology examinations, medications, and specialist referrals, if that is your preference. If you do not have insurance benefits, don't worry. We have options for you.
Because we eliminate ties to insurance plans, we have more flexibility in how we control our patient's care. We keep our patient panel size small so that appointment times are not restricted and appointment availability is never an issue. Patients have access to the doctor, not a substitute. And all aesthetic treatments are performed by the doctor, not a technician. THIS is how it should be. THIS is how "normal" should be. Don't accept anything else in healthcare.
